Miss Michelle started dance training at the age of four with a primary focus in ballet. She also took classes in tap, jazz and hip hop at several studios in the Milwaukee area, including Showcase. As a member of the Cudahy High School Varsity Pom & Dance team, Miss Michelle performed award-winning solo and small group routines; received All Star distinction during the Badgerette summer camp; and led her team to the semi-finals of Badgerette’s Midwest Grand Championship in Schaumburg, IL.
Cudahy's 2011 Distinguished Young Woman, she performed a dance routine for her talent. Miss Michelle was also an accomplished baton twirler and represented Wisconsin twice at the annual national competition, American Youth on Parade (AYOP). Her team obtained multiple 1st place designations at national championships; and represented the United States at the World Competition in the Netherlands and Italy.
Miss Michelle obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Concordia University Wisconsin where she was a member of the dance team during her undergraduate years. The team performed at athletic events and participated in regional and national competitions. Highlights include the 2014 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference title; and a 1st place kick routine at the 2015 Americup Competition.
After graduation, Miss Michelle pursued specialty pharmacy residency training in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy followed by a second year residency in Medication Use, Safety, and Policy at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. She now works full time as a Pain Stewardship Pharmacist at Froedtert South Hospital.
Miss Michelle returns to Showcase Dance Studio as an instructor of Ballet and Acro classes and, as a new resident of the Third Ward, spends her free time exploring the lakefront and trying new restaurants.
